Q. Why do I need a PayPal
Account?
A. PayPal offers a safe, secure and reliable way for money to be transferred
between the buyer, seller and i-report.
Q. What types of file can I
upload?
A. You can upload all document types. These include: Microsoft Word,
Word Pad, Microsoft Excel, Adobe PDF, HTML, TIFF and ZIPed files.
 
 
 
Image, video and music files
files such as WMA, JPEG, GIFs and MP3 are not allowed.
 
Q. How will I know when a
report has been sold?
A. We will let you know when your report has been sold by transferring
funds into your PayPal account. PayPal will send you an e-mail containing
all the details of the transfer along with details of the report that has
been sold.
Q. Can I upload more that
one report?
A. Yes you can upload as many reports as you like. The more high quality
reports that you submit the greater the chances of your work being found
by interested individuals.
Q. My report is made up of
several files how can I upload them as a single item?
A. i-report will only accept one file per submitted report. If your report
is made up of more than one file then before submitting it simply put them
all into a single folder on your PC. Zip the folder to create a single
.zip file. This can then be uploaded in the normal way.
Q. Can I change the price
of my report?
A. Yes you can. Please click on the Contact Us icon. Enter your name,
e-mail address and select the "Price Change" Question type from
the drop down menu. In the question field enter the new price in UK £.
For example £4.00.
Q. What is the maximum file
size for a report?
A. The maximum allowable file size currently supported by i-report is 3
Mega bytes. If you report is larger than this then try ZIPing it or
converting it to a PDF before uploading it.
Q. What is the maximum
price that I can charge for a report?
A. The maximum price that you can charge for a report is £100.
Q. Can I give away reports
for free?
A. No. The minimum price that you can set is £1.00.
Q. What is the sales fee
and how much is it?
A. The sales fee is the amount that i-report will add to the price that
you have requested to receive. This is our sales commission. The total
price of a report will be the price that you have requested plus the sales
fee.
Currently the sales fee is
£3.00 flat rate
This means that if you submit
a report and would like to receive £10.00 then the report will go on sale
for £13.00.
Q. Can I upload other
peoples reports?
A. No. Absolutely not. You can only upload reports that you own or that
you have produced by yourself. i-report strictly forbids the upload of
material which you do not own or which breach any Copy Right or Intellectual
Property Rights (IPR). The terms and conditions that you must agree to
before uploading a report cover this and make clear that you are
responsible for ensuring that all uploaded material is owned fully by you.
